.... it would certainly be defendable to (re)consider dramatic coping procedures which
could include reconsidering aspects of EUTHANASIA .
One important point remains not to use the situation as a welcome mode to dispose
of the Running Logans and more which would simply make
it a (de-facto) genocide ....
When considering Euthanasia in Holland now it may be important to note
AMONG OTHERS the following points .
1.HOLLAND WAS THE FIRST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD WITH AN EUTHANASIA LAW ( 2001)
2. THE PEOPLE NOW HAVE TO SUBMIT A REQUEST FOR EUTHANASIA WHICH THEY HAVE PROPERLY
CONSIDERED .
THERE HAS TO BE EVIDENCE OF UNBEARABLE SUFFERING .
3. THE PUBLIC DEBATE ON EUTHANASIA HAS RESULTED IN OTHER SPECIALISTS BECOMING INVOLVED IN
THE DECISION MAKING PROCESS .
4. DOCTORS CAN NO LONGER DECIDE ABOUT A PATIENTS LIFE OR DEATH ON THERE OWN .
AT LEAST ONE OTHER DOCTOR HAS TO BE CONSULTED .
