THE SPIRIT OF DEMOCRACY UNDER GLOBALISATION AND THE EUROPEAN CONSTITUTION CRISIS IN GLOBAL PERSPECTIVE

THE SPIRIT OF DEMOCRACY UNDER GLOBALIZATION , OUR DEFINITION OF GLOBALIZATION and the European Constitution Crisis in Global Perspective have many themes in common .

They all relate to the human individual’s basic right to life and to the stable state to maintain that life .

Off course this does not relieve individuals of the responsibility to plan securities for their future to the best of their knowledge so their stable state can be maintained at future times .

Among other things these securities include :

sensible labour contracts - health care - savings - pension funds - their homes - their lives when they are no longer "economically viable" (a.c. economical viability) .

When life organisms don’t live alone they often live in groups and soon leaders may emerge which the individual organisms recognise and learn to obey getting protection in return .

As groups get larger and larger and more and more complex the individual organism increasingly depends on his (chosen) leaders which he must trust .

In our largely computerised online world under globalisation with the complexity of the systems in which we live increasing at a geometric rate individual human organisms have no way of even remotely comprehending which purposes will determine their fate .

This is one reason why they all increasingly depend on each other in relations which ultimately must depend on trust .

Considering the human race it must be clear that the emergence of entities through malignant replication leading to de facto genocide should not be an option .

It is well known that on our planet this type of emergence is a natural phenomenon but we believe it may also be at least postponed as may be clear from our prime directives . This is one reason why we are researching relevant topics (e.g. redefining genocide - malignant replication in the past ) .

The European constitution crisis in global perspective illustrates the type of development that demands very close analysis in this respect as it has all the relevant potentials . There are some indications that the process may still be reversible but we feel it may take all the energy we have got .

Fortunately man has had the opportunity to learn that when malignant replication becomes irreversible
in the end no one benefits . . .
